The gap isn’t evenly spread
Fewer than half of UK children receive a meaningful financial education. But that shortfall doesn’t fall evenly — it lands hardest on exactly the children for whom money will be tightest.
A child growing up where money is a constant worry has the most to gain from understanding how it works — and is the least likely to be taught. That is the wrong way round, and it is the part of our work we most want to get right.
