Our Quality Mark has been renewed for another two years

Young Enterprise has reaccredited the Smartmonies programme against the Financial Education Quality Mark, two years on from the original award.

📅 September 2026

We were first awarded the Quality Mark in September 2024. Accreditation is not permanent — it runs for a fixed term and has to be earned again, which is rather the point of it. A mark that never expired would say only that a programme was good once.

What renewal means

The Quality Mark is an independent assessment against national standards for financial education, carried out by people with no stake in whether we succeed. Renewing it means the programme has been looked at again, as it stands today, rather than as it stood two years ago.

That matters because the programme has not stood still. The ten lessons have been revised since the original award, and the digital course launched in the meantime. Reaccreditation covers what children actually learn from us now.

Our thanks again to the team at Young Enterprise. Being assessed by educators rather than marketed by ourselves is the whole reason we sought the Quality Mark in the first place — and it is why we will keep putting the programme back in front of them.

What it means for families

Nothing changes about your classes or your access to the digital course. What it gives you is something you can check rather than something we have asserted: our listing sits publicly in Young Enterprise’s resource directory, alongside every other resource they have assessed.
